The previous Head of Tourism and Culture Office of Wondama Bay, Frans Mosmafa, mentioned that the plan requires at least 200 hectares area to build various facilities and other supporting infrastructures in the island.

Accessibility
The Rumberpon Island is located north of Wondama Bay Regency, while it is also close to its neighboring Manokwari Regency. To visit the island, you can simply start from Manokwari Regency by water by going for a ship that takes you 5.5 up to 6 six six-hour voyages.
