Therefore, the West Papua Provincial Government will disseminate to all MSME players in the West Papua region. The goal is to make MSME players digitally literate so that MSMEs can develop quickly.
The steps taken by the West Papua Government should be appreciated. This is because MSMEs are one of the important components for regional and national economic growth.

Papua Government Collaborates with Various Parties
The government does not walk alone in realizing the digitalization of MSMEs in West Papua. Instead, it collaborates with certain parties. In this agenda, the West Papua Government invites the Office of Communication and Information to voice its agenda to all MSME players in West Papua.

In addition to the Office of Communication and Information, the Papua Provincial Government also cooperates with banks. The hope is that MSME players will be facilitated in obtaining capital. One of the cooperation programs with banks is PAPEDA (Acceleration of Regional Financial Access).
One of the concrete forms of the Papua Provincial Government’s efforts in realizing the digitalization of MSMEs is to provide training. Training that micro business actors can access. The training will teach them how to use digital platforms as a trading market for their products.
In addition, they are also educated on how to optimize their digital stores so that they sell and grow. In addition, the provincial government also conducts capacity building.
GBBI and GBWI
GBBI stands for Proud to Make Indonesia Movement, while GBWI means Proud to Travel in Indonesia Movement. West Papua Secretary Dance Sangkek said that GBBI and GBWI, which will be held on May 9, 2023, in Manokwari, are strategic steps to develop a digital ecosystem for MSMEs.
