The Fuel One Price Program has Reached The 31st Spot in Tambrauw, West Papua

The Fuel One Price (BBM One Price) program has now reached the 31st spot. Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources along with Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) and PT Pertamina (Persero), inaugurated the supplier agency of BBM One Price program, Kompak gas station in Sausapor district, Tambrauw district, West Papua province on Friday (24/11/2017). Sausapor District is about 150 kilometers north of Sorong, the Capital of West Papua Province.

Prior to the existence of this Kompak gas station, Sausapor District residents bought the fuel from retailers with prices ranging from Rp. 15,000 to Rp. 20,000 per liter. With the Kompak gas station in Sausapor District, Tambrauw citizens can now get fuel at Rp.5,150 for Solar and Rp.6,450 for Premium, same with the price in Java Island. The Compact Fuel Station in Sausapor District has a Premium and Solar tank capacity of 10-kiloliters. Supply of fuel for Kompak gas stations is supplied from Sorong fuel terminal.

Director of Oil and Gas Downstream Business Development of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Harya Adithyawarman stated that the realization of BBM One Price in the region of West Papua is a result of good synergy between the Central Government, in this case, the Ministry of ESDM, BPH Migas and Local Government with Pertamina in supporting the program Nawacita in the energy sector.

“This is a concrete manifestation of the central government’s good intentions to truly what the program of Nawacita can be realized in the earth of Papua and throughout Indonesia,” he added.[1]

Head of BPH Migas Fanshurullah Asa praised the synergy of the Government, in this case, the Ministry of ESDM, BPH Migas, and Pertamina in the realization of supplier agency for BBM One Price. He said that after the establishment of a one price fuel station in Tambrauw, the local government must ensure its operations are running well and the sale is also true for the community.

Meanwhile, Vice Regent of Tambrauw, Mesakh Matusala welcomed the fuel one price program in Tambrauw. He expects that fuel one prices at Tambrauw can contribute positively to the regional economy and improve the living standards of nearby communities.

General Manager of Marketing Operation Region VIII Maluku Papua, Made Adi Putra said that until the end of November 2017, for the Papua & West Papua region, Pertamina has realization 12 of the target of 16 Fuel One Price locations until 2017 as assigned by the government in the attachment of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) No 36 the year 2016.[2]
