The uniqueness of Venue Island is that there is a saltwater pool in the middle of the island, and this island is a habitat for leatherback turtles to survive. Researchers say the leatherback turtle is one of the most endangered animals.

In addition to leatherback turtles on this island, there are also hawksbill turtles, olive ridley turtles, and green turtles. On the island of Venue, tourists can witness how turtle eggs hatch until they become saplings ready to walk to get to the high seas.
