Papuan young talents must prepare for a brighter future due to the PYCH recording studio in Jayapura. This studio is a great means due to its potential to help them achieve their dream in the music industry. Papuan Youth Creative Hub is an amazing facility initiated by Budi Gunawan, the head of the State Intelligence Service (BIN), due to its integrated accommodations.
The Indonesian President, Jokowi, fully supports the idea by inaugurating the PYCH building in March 2023. This facility will be the right means for young Papuan in order to sharpen their skills and talents. PYCH music studio is a promising facility because it could be the doorway to their future musical career.
Papua Youth Creative Hub
This amazing facility is evidence of the Indonesian government’s commitment in order to achieving equitable development in Papua. Not only does the government build many infrastructures within the area, but it also pays attention to its human resources as well. Papua Youth Creative Hub’s inauguration is its peak program due to its purpose for Papuan youth. PYCH will become the means for young Papuan to explore their skills and talents in order to achieve their dreams.
With the main building of a 3,500 meters square area, this facility is awesome due to all its accommodations for the locals. PYCH music studio and recording is among the best facilities they can make the best use of in order to enhance their musical talents.
BIN entrusted its foster organization named PMI (Papua Muda Inspiratif) to run Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) facility. Thus, PMI has to work hard so they can execute the programs well. In fact, PMI encourages young Papuan talents to work in creative industry fields due to its potential outcomes.
They held Soundphoria Kids 2 talent in order to recruit younger Papuan talents. This singing audition is for a show for 7 – 12 years old kids.
One of the judges of the Soundphoria Kids 2, Shintike Meokbun, was amazed by the melodious voices of the young participants. In fact, such talents can motivate the region’s future development while being the right means to improve the local welfare as well.
PYCH Music Studio
PYCH music studio offers a professional means due to its complete and integrated music instruments and recording equipment. The coordinator of PYCH Music Studio, Julio Faot, is positive about the outcome because this facility is designated for Papuan talents to record their music.
Some of the talents which have benefited from the facility, among others, are MAC, Papuan Akustik, and the Shine of Black (SOB) group.
This Papua Youth Creative Hub music studio offers an upper hand facility due to its ability to do live recording for each member. Papuan talents no longer have to travel to big cities such as Jakarta for recording because they now have their own decent recording studio. Julio hopes that many Papuan youths can benefit from PYCH music studio in order to explore their talents and create more musical works for their best benefit.
In response to this statement, the drummer of Papua Akustik, Riboi Jr, claimed that PYCH studio is the best one in Jayapura due to its complete features.
He is very excited because his group can experience the new musical instruments and recording equipment. He hopes this studio will appeal to more Papuan talents to create their own music. Julio also hopes that young Papuan talents can maximize PYCH music studio in order to improve their talents.
