Traditional Leaders in Papua Compactly Reject and Support the Eradication of KST

Traditional Papuan authorities are in favor of eliminating KST (Separatist and Terrorist Groups). In line with traditional leaders, residents in Bumi Cendrawasih also agreed to reject and support the eradication of KST.

This is due to the fact that the separatist group poses a threat to national security and frequently targets the Papuan populace. KST must be eradicated so that Papua is always safe.

Declaration of Rejecting KST

KST is categorically rejected by the entire Papuan population since they have gone beyond the pale of humanity by carrying out robberies and assaults. This separatist movement used rifles and cutting edge weapons to carry out the attack. Injured people are not the only victims of the Papuan civilians.

Because the KST is a state traitor, community leaders are also opposed to them. Everyone in the Tembagapura District of Mimika, Papua, declares their rejection of KST. They support the TNI and Polri’s abolition of KST wholeheartedly.

KST has caused difficulty numerous times, even attacking with cutting objects. At least 90 people died as a result of the KST attack in 2022, according to figures from the Papua Regional Police.

Most recently, KST attacked security forces who were guarding the taraweeh prayer service and resulted in the death of 2 TNI/Polri personnel. Because of that, the community strongly rejects KST so that they don’t cause trouble and hurt Papuans.

Appreciation of Traditional Leaders for TNI/Polri in Protecting Papua

Traditional chief Jos Magay, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by joint TNI/Polri security troops in upholding the community’s comfort and safety. Jos Magay vehemently disagreed with the KST and KKB’s frequent use of violence in Tembagapura.

The people of Papua are opposed to KST, as are the traditional leaders. They objected to the separatist group entering their region. KST is particularly harmful since they will threaten and intimidate the neighborhood if they arrive. Residents suffered harm as a result of the dread, which took the form of violent robberies.

No Papuans Support the KST Separatist Movement

It is untrue what KST says about the Papuan people supporting their separatist effort. KST has no concern for the people of Papua and only seeks to gain power there.

The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, which Papua has amalgamated with since the popular vote in 1969, is precious, according to Yanto Eluay, another prominent member of the Papuan population. KST and OPM have no place in either Indonesia or Papua.

Yanto joined forces with other leaders of the Papuan community, including Herman Yoku, Sem Kogoya, and Max Ohee, to denounce KST and OPM. Also, they disapprove of anyone who asserts that no Papuan celebrates July 1 as OPM’s birthday. They oppose KST because they are aware that the separatist organization is upsetting the peace in Papua.

Don’t Easily Believe Fake News

Yanto stated that in order to protect security and order against KST attacks, the community must work together. Don’t let propaganda and lies that are consciously created by KST members sway anyone.

KST does employ social media to sway the populace and encourage defection. They create unique accounts and disseminate lies about putting the Melanesian race under the rug. Even if such a program does not exist. The general people are urged to maintain composure and refrain from being upset by hoaxes, which could disturb the situation.

If any Papuans come across an apparent KST hoax, they should report it to the cyber police right away. It will be possible to determine their whereabouts afterwards by tracking the IP address. Due to the employment of sophisticated technology in tracking, it will be simpler to catch KST in this manner.

Communities in Cendrawasih Earth respect traditional and community leaders and they follow instructions so as not to be triggered by issues that are deliberately raised by KST. If community leaders reject KST, Papuans will follow suit.
