The name Untung Tamsil, S.Sos, M.Si, emerged after the 2020 Fakfak Pilkada (regional election). The name previously not taken into account in the political arena ahead of the 2020 Fakfak Pilkada has now finally been named the Regent of Fakfak at a relatively young age by several Regents in Fakfak Regency in West Papua.

Introduction to Untung Tamsil

The first child of a sand entrepreneur in the 80’s era was officially inaugurated as the Regent of Fakfak for 2021 – 2024 by the Governor of West Papua, Dominggus Mandacan, together with the Regent of Kaimana and the Regent of South Sorong.

He was officially inaugurated as Regent of Fakfak at 44 and three months old, the first child of the husband-wife pair Usman Tamsil and Mariam Slamat Rengen. He was born on January 1, 1977, and is the youngest Regent in Fakfak Regency in West Papua of the 13 Regents and Mayors in West Papua Province.

At a relatively young age, UT, the nickname of Untung Tamsil, reached the peak of his political career by being elected as Regent of Fakfak in the 2020 Pilkada. He won 20,271 votes, which won by a difference of points from his opponent by as much as 825 votes.

Then they must carry out work programs following the local government information system (SIPD) so that regional, especially Fakfak Regency in West Papua, development continues to advance, is right on target, and the community is prosperous.
